Alliums dark A2 limited edition print
This is an artists print of a painting that I made during the 2020-21 lockdown. I have limited the editions to 50 copies of each painting and have selected Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm which is a museum quality, slightly textured matt fine art paper. The inks are also colour fast and museum quality for longevity.
They are A2 size which fits neatly into a standard A2 frame, 420 x 594mm / 16.5 x 23.4 inches
 
The original painting is created using water-based dye rather like a watercolour and then the Alliums, Cow parsley and new spring grasses are created using hand carved blocks which are rolled with ink and printed. A painted print.

  • What inspired this picture

    Alliums are related to onions and tall, I love them. These are bright globes against the shade at the back of a border. I had to cut a larger block to be able to get the luminosity with white and peach printing ink.

    Your print will be carefully packed using acid neutral tissue paper and then rolled in a sturdy tube. Free postage to the UK.
