Print & Paint

Finding Inspiration in layers and blocks

I make block prints by carving lino or vinyl—sometimes leaving a scar or two as a reminder of the process! Without a press, I roll ink onto the block with a foam roller and press it by hand, so no two prints are ever the same. I add watercolour backgrounds with splashes, flicks, and dots, creating layers of colour, texture, and surprise. Each print is a little experiment, full of energy, imperfection and fun.
